At least four people have been killed after a lemon
attack targeted a police vehicle in the western Pakistani megacity of Quetta.
“A police vehicle
was targeted in Qandhari Bazar area of the megacity. Among the dead, two
are police officers whereas one girl and another mercenary failed, Waseem Baig, prophet for Civil Hospital in the
megacity, told Al Jazeera on Monday, adding that 15 people were injured.
Mitha Khan, a
police functionary present at the sanitarium, told Al Jazeera that the “
vehicle targeted belonged to a elderly police functionary who was on his way to
one of the police stations. The elderly functionary is unhurt, but his motorist
and marksman failed in the attack ”.
The original
disquisition revealed that four to five kilogrammes( nine to 11 pounds) of net

supervisor Police( SSP) spokesperson Zohaib Mohsin Baloch.
